Wrong Calculation of Average Heart Rate Bpm

Dear,

I've noticed something strange related to the calculation of average heart rate. In my last training session my Garmin 910XT heart rate averaged 65%. When uploading to Garmin Connect I visualized that is showing me a 76% average heart rate. I thought it could be a difference between the values of the device and the application but both are equal, 63 min and 193 Max.

As seen below in the settings tab training zones calculation is performed correctly:

In the detail of training and displayed on PPM is also correct (146 PPM) equivalent to 65%.

But now by selecting % of maximum application shows an average 76% of which is INCORRECT:

What Could Be the problem?

Some admin can give me a hand with this? i cant get it, and if it is a bug would a be a very serious problem.

Are you 100% sure the values are the same? i have a similar problem and if i look at the device in garmin connect the values are correct for Bike / Run but if i look at the heart rate zones on the physical watch it's not correct. I suspect that the correct values are never transferred to the watch.

I assume that you have checked the average heart rate in BPM is showing the same on the watch as on connect - if it is then as per skaarup above are you certain about the zones? I've never seen this happen in 3 years of use

Are you 100% sure the values are the same? i have a similar problem and if i look at the device in garmin connect the values are correct for Bike / Run but if i look at the heart rate zones on the physical watch it's not correct. Yes, I made sure to put the same heart zones on the device and also put "Send to Device" from Garmin Connect.

Today I went for a run, I finished the workout with a 66% average heart rate equivalent to 148 pulsations, which is displayed correctly in Garmin Connect:

But selecting Percentage mode, it shows 77% !! where it should be 66%, and not know what else could be, any other ideas?

Have you tried in connect classic to see if you get the same result

I get the same results in connect classic:

i am almost giving up about this, and thinking on calculate manually the average heart rate % after every training or just memorize it from the device (which is correct).

I forgot to tell that i recently reset the device to get the "factory setting", to see if this could fix it, but nothing happen.

Mmm.. Just looked at my run before last and that is incorrect too though not by such a big margin as yours

I have a run

Avg HR 151 bpm 84%

Max HR 165 bpm 92%

My settings are

154 bpm = 81%
167 bpm = 91%

So the above are clearly wrong :(

The zones however display correctly

Have you reported this to Garmin support - the forums are just for advice from fellow users and Garmin don't necessarily pick up on issues raised here?

I was going to tell you if you can test the functionality to see if you have the same issue, so thanks a lot for your time and answers. I just sent an email to Garmin Support to see what happen. When i get the asnwer i will post it here.

Same problem here...
Yesterday's run at 156 average heart rate, that as per my fenix 2 and gaming connect settings should be around 75-76% but gaming connect shows 83%.
Somebody receive any solution?
