How can I upload an ignored activity to Connect - 910XT?

Yesterday's activity went completely ignored during sync. I did the exact same activity today and it uploaded. For whatever reason the Garmin Express/Connect system just doesn't recognize this activity as new, even though it shows up in the watches history.

I don't have the old ANT agent/Communicator in this computer. So I can't go to Classic mode and upload it individually. I tried and it locks while looking for activities.

I pulled out an old Mac that I haven't used for a year, which still had the ANT agent in it. I downloaded the communicator and tried it there. I didn't show one activity newer than 8/2013. That could be the last time I used that computer to sync with that watch. But for whatever reason, it says it recognizes the 910 yet doesn't seem to query it at all.

This isn't the first time this has happened, and it isn't consistent enough to track why it happens, but I've never been able to add those activities. Any thoughts on how to get an activity from my watch into Connect?

Had to "Jiggle the Handle"

It looks like I was able to jiggle the handle in a way that my workouts were uploaded. I had to unpair my watch, in my 5yr old macbook, and then re-pair it. Once I did that, it noticed there were new activities. So it uploaded all of the new activities, including a gym workout I did Friday night and Saturday's jog.

It seems like a lot of troubleshooting to figure out a system to upload unrecognized activities, considering I had to choose to use an old computer that I've more or less taken out of service. I could have downloaded the ANT agent and communicator and installed them in my primary computer. But I removed them because they didn't play nicely with Garmin Express.

This has just started happening to me as well. The website said they were working on it or they were doing maintenance after that I can't upload my new activities they just get ignored, I have two new that will not upload. I am also using a MAC, It was working with the new website just fine yesterday but now I is will not recognize new activities. I have a 310XT. So frustrating with Garmin that I can't get anything that work consistently. The watch is great they just can't seem to get the website and syncing right. I have years working with my Garmins and about every 5th time I am spending hours trying to make is work with the website. I would also like a way to manually up load my activities like the old system since they can't seem to get the sync to work correctly.
