I had this problem since downloading the new Garmin Express at the beginning of January. I got it to manually upload on Jan 4th, but when I tried today I can't get anything to work. I plug in my Forerunning 220 and it says "Sync Failure" with device and will not show new activities in January. I have seen this be a problem for others but not a clear solution. One time I can forgive but I thought it would be fixed by now. Help!
I'm having exactly the same problem with Garmin Express and my Edge 810. I moved from an old Mac Air to a new one last week (Jan 17), and now Garmin Express won't sync - I just get an error message. I attributed it first to my new Mac, but now it seems that Garmin Express may be at fault. Help!!
I have been trying all day long to get my vivofit to sync and it won't. Same thing happened last weekend. But I'm not getting any messages. It doesn't tell me that the attempt failed like it used to. I've tried everything suggested to try to fix the issue. Getting fed up about this.
I've been having these issues with Connect and Express as well, with my Vivofit. I got the Vivofit in Sep. 2014 and it's been awesome. But come 2015 it's been a nightmare. Nothing syncs right, it won't connect well with MyFitnessPal anymore. It will sporadically record activities with the heart rate monitor. C'mon Garmin! These are health/fitness devices! It's been almost a month now with these issues. I'm going to return this at my gym if it's still acting up in February. I'll go back to Polar, which I don't want to.
Connect has been working for a while, and with mfp, if yours isn't then it's another issue. If you're having problems synching via Express I suggest you post your problem in the Express forums, where you'll get a response from Garmin staff.
