Trouble connecting to Garmin Connect

Hi all, new member alert so please bear with me if I what I am about to ask is ridiculous.

I recently purchased an Edge 705 and went about setting up this evening. Everything OK, account created, software updated but when I tried to access Garmin Connect I received the following:

HTTP Status 403 - Not logged in

type Status report

message Not logged in

description Access to the specified resource (Not logged in) has been forbidden.

Apache Tomcat/7.0.26
----------------------

I've tried numerous times, logged out, logged in, attempted to access from different links, device plugged in, device unplugged, but always the same. Has anyone else had this issue and if so is there something that I should be doing but am not or not doing which I should.
