This is my first post so I hope I am in the right place. My wife and I are planning to do a bike tour in and around Amsterdam this summer. I have a Garmin Touring, which I find both wonderful and terrible (sometimes it has saved me from being lost; sometimes I have stopped my bike to get off and scream at it). I'm in Canada and it keeps trying to make me ride on death-trap roads, but apparently that has to do with the roads not being mapped or the maps not being uploaded. I've actually written about the many problems with the Touring on my blog. So I am quite worried about trusting my life and my wife's life to this quixotic electronic creature in a strange country.
In short, we really need the Garmin Touring to work for us in Amsterdam. Can anyone tell me where I get the right maps and how I get them working for my Garmin?
