Status Status Page

May I semi-sarcastically propose that Garmin create a Status Status Page so that we can determine the status of the status page which, currently, appears to be down along with the rest of the Garmin Connect site.

The silence from Garmin on this is deafening - absolute clowns. The products they sell are not fit for purpose without the backend services that enable their functionality. They need to get some competent developers in, some competent DBAs, some competent technical management and some competent communications people.

Never again will I buy Garmin.

I'm beyond getting upset any longer. Garmin's software team if you can call them that is at work again. Every item in the status page is now red. WT* If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. I like to be positive and constructive in my life and with my approach to everything. Sadly this stuff is really just bringing out negativity in me and I've resigned myself to futility.
  • All green here apart from one item?

There was a complete downtime for all services and for Garmin Connect as a webpage yesterday. I guess it looks as if the problems are increasing for the Connect service rather than decreasing. That is what upsets people. That and the above mentioned "deafening silence" about a complete service outage. A status board is no substitute for a short written info from a moderator like: "had problem x, will do y, service will be up in about z hours ...." That the service is DOWN is quite visible even without a status board. :p
  • Sorry but moderators have no access to that sort of information, we're simply users like yourself.
