Forerunner 620 WiFi and auto pause never have worked. Why is Garmin always down.

Forerunner 620 will not allow the autopause feature. Also why is the Garmin Connect site down soo much. I wish I would have purchase the Suunto ambit.
This Garmin seems like a poorly made product.
You'd probably get the attention of more FR620 people in the sub-forum for help with your autopause issue. Post tend to get lost quicker here in this section of the forum. As for Garmin Connect being up and down a lot, I guess I'm just missing the downs.
As for a possible issue with the autopause, if you don't have a good satellite lock, then the accuracy suffers and your plotted position will wonder around even though you are standing still. So it thinks you are moving when you are not. If the 620 allows you to, maybe setting the autopause threshold to something a little higher than zero will help.
If you are using it for cycling, then a speed sensor of some type will help too.
