Hi there...this is my 1st post and I really hope someone can help!
I have recently started using a Garmin Forerunner 110 for my running and have joined Strava. I have been uploading activity successfully until one file was having trouble. I wasn't sure what to do and I mistakenly edited the file name, which I realise now has corrupted the file.
I can see the file in Windows, i.e. Garmin/Activity folder, however when I tried to use the FitFileRepair tool, the Import function sees this Activity folder as being empty.
Also, the file seems to have disappeared from the Forerunner's History.
When I try and copy and paste the file from the Activity folder, it shows an error message.
When I try to upload the FIT file using the attachment function here, I get an "Upload Failed" message.
I would prefer to NOT do a hard reset on the Forerunner as I will lose any activity completed since the corrupted file.
ANY and ALL help greatly appreciated...I realise this is my error in renaming the file however what's done is done.
