This course http://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/8604746 finished early, at about the 45 mile mark it declared that I was finished, and then at the 47 mark it did it again, showed me nothing for a while and then took me to the end of the course. It's done it on other courses as well, but I kind of assumed it was my fault and then didn't think about it again.
There's nothing special in the editing mode about those two points, previously it might have been from the point at which I said 'complete the loop' but I purposely don't do that any more. It's making it very unreliable, I'm already having to rebuild every course someone offers me in connect as otherwise it spends 90% of it's time off course. In this case it also didn't pick up the route properly straight away and so we went a bit wayward for a while (we all knew the area so no biggy).
