Question about Active Calories in Vivofit

I am a new Vivofit user and am a little confused. I have been wearing my Vivofit while running and recording my runs in Garmin Connect. When looking at the total active calories for the day it includes calories and distance for my total steps (which includes the steps taken during my run) and calories and distance for the run I recorded - see the attached image - so therefore my run stats are doubled - right? Should I not wear my Vivofit while running or just not record my runs. Am I doing something wrong?
