We are experiencing issues with Garmin Connect?

I just bought my vivosmart 3 days ago and the whole time I've had it, there has been a banner at the top of the Connect page saying "We are experiencing issues with Garmin Connect..." How long has this been going on? What am I missing as a result? I love the vivosmart but I'm concerned about the Connect page. As it is, I like Fitbit's Connect page much better but not enough to give up my vivosmart. A flaky Garmin Connect page to boot may make me reconsider. My phone doesn't sync with either brand, so I'm stuck with syncing on the websites until I upgrade.
