Problem exporting TCX file

I have been exporting my rides to TCX files and uploading to Strava.

All has been fine, except for one ride which only exports as an 8k file - which Strava sees as an empty file.

Any ideas?

The ride shows up fine in Garmin Connect, but every time I export it, I get the same file size (have also tried this in different browsers and on different computers).

You know that Strava can now import your data from GC automatically don't you? Though maybe I need to try it myself to see if what I'm saying is correct.

The contents of .tcx files and .gpx files can be viewed with a simple text editor. So if you open them up, you might can figure out what's missing. Sounds like it might be the track position data as the files so small.

If you still have the original file on your device, then that would be the better file to import to Strava.

I wasn't aware of that... will go have a look now and see if it works that way.
