Exagerated Calories being reported on Garmin Connect

It has only been a few hours East Coast time and I have already burned over 14,000 calories. I know Garmin is having issues with their Connect and Server, but I have not seen them specifically state this issue. It is not a MyfitnessPal issue. This is a Connect Calorie Adjustment Issue that is incorrect. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a vivosmart issue?

Yes, I have noticed that today too. If I look at the activities from my calories in/out widget the mileage estimate for steps is out by a factor of 10+ or so despite the number of steps being ok and the calorie count next to it is too high. Yesterday's numbers look ok though.

This is with a vivofit device btw.
  • For me it is the exact opposite. A ride of 2 hours and one hour weights meant that my total allowed kilojoules for the day was reduced by over 1000 on MFP. I did a little over 9000 Kilojoules exercise according to Runtastic and Garmin decided to reduce my allowed intake by -10,129 kilojoules.
