Just got the vivosmart - app says 2 software updates are available. How do I get it to update...it syncs regularly but nothing...! Am I missing something very obvious??
My experience has been that the update happens automatically after you put the Vivosmart in the charger and it gets a full charge. Once fully charged, as soon as you unplug it, it will say that it is executing the update and then reboot itself.
Make sure you have the latest version of Garmin Express. I found that I could not update to version 2.90 until I updated Garmin Express. GE doesn't seem to tell you there is an update available, I had to click the check for updates and it did. Afterwards I was able to update my vivosmart.
