D2 and Connect activity tracking

I greatly enjoy Connect and the ability to create my customized dashboard. I've increased the number of Garmin devices and I use the Forerunner 620 for running, the Edge 810 for cycling, the VIRB for just whatever comes up and recently the D2 for flying and hiking. Interestingly, when I use the D2 for activities such as off road jeeping or flying it still calculates calories. I'm unable to disable this feature as far as I can tell or set it up in a given profile to not compute some analysis. I could manually edit the activity but Connect gets hung up and/or crashes when I try to edit the activity. So I can't simply delete the calories. This causes my fitness activity tracking to be inaccurate.

So I'm requesting that some metrics be able to be disabled, either in the devices or on the dashboard, such that I can have fitness tracking activities and non-fitness tracking activities not interfere with each other when creating reports. Today when I took a 158 mile plane flight it indicated I burned 2000 calories. This caused MyFitnessPal to allow me many more calories ;-) I'd like to adjust it. Funny thing - despite flying for 158 miles at an average of 120mph I only burned 2000 calories! You'd think if I could track across the ground at that speed for that distance it'd burn more!

thanks.
