Gear Not Totalling Correctly?

I love the new feature that lets me track the miles on my gear, but I'm concerned that the totals are off in Garmin Connect.

When I click on the gear, a pair of sneakers, Garmin Connect displays the value "56 activities". When I click on that "56 activities", it brings up a list of more than 60 activities, which includes duplicates, and the total (I copied and pasted the list into Excel) distance is also not correct.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

I dont think it is calculating manual activities that are uploaded. If you add an activity directly from a device it seems to total the gear correctly but if it was manually addied it doesn't appear to total. I emailed Garmin as I was seeing the same issue.

Importad activities are counted as manual activities and are also not counted. Hope they fix this soon cause i got a load of imported activities since i recently move a years worth of data from runtatic to connect.

Manual activities are not being included in gear totals? Why would Garmin, or a user care if the activity is input manually or from the device?
