Zero distance/speed on imported GPX

Hi all,

I imported this activity from a GPX file exported from Strava.

Whilst it correctly shows the route, time and elevation, the total distance shows as 0.01mi (it should be 10.0 miles), and the average speed at 0.0mph. The speed graph shows plenty of data, but on the wrong scale (the max speed is 0.1mph)

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Further to this, when I view elevation/speed by distance, it really does believe the route is 0.01 miles end to end, even though the lat/long data is clearly correct when plotted on the map, which I guess explains the scale on the speed graph.

I'm having similar issues importing from my Oregon 400t. I get time, total elevation gains but no distance. It reads out a 0.0. Has done this on my last three outdoor hikes. Also having problems in Activities as nothing happens when I click on the "+Manual Activity" link. That started yesterday (Jan 5) and is still a problem today. It works OK on the Old Classic activities but not on the "Modern" version.

As a new user, I'm trying really hard to like Garmin Connect, but these forums are a bit frightening...

This shouldn't take long to fix but the Connect team have been busy with more important things recently. I believe a Microsoft update caused part of the problem, then mfp had an issue with various sites. Added to that many new users (like yourself) all trying to access the servers over the Christmas/new year period and you can begin to see why there was a bit of chaos. Hopefully it will all be resolved soon.

Problem now will be that there will still be the odd few having issues due to problems with their PC or simply not following the instructions and they will be thinking it's down to the current issues, which will no doubt muddy the waters for a while. Both Connect Modern and Classic are now up and running for me, although the distance issue is till there and you can still only edit using Classic.

This shouldn't take long to fix

That was 3 weeks ago, what's the definition of 'long' in this case? My newly uploaded activity is showing speeds of 0mph.
