Garmin Connect: Gear equipment unable connect to the activity

Hi, I have add Shoes in gear but it unable link to my activity...

I too am experiencing the same issues.

I've not been able to add gear from the activity widget, but if you go to full page for activities, than click on the specific activity, you can then click on "Add Gear" and it works fine. It's probably a bug, but there is a work around.
