Garmin Connect is not summarizing number of kilometers in a new equipment.

Hi everyone,

Last week it appeared a new feature in Garmin Connect for adding equipment.
I added my Adidas Adistar Boost with a maximum distance of 1000 kilometers.
Today I ran 5 kms and I was able to upload the activity in Connect, but when I see the Adistar Boost equipment it is showing "0 of 1000 km" so it is not summarizing the number of kilometers of the last activity.
How can I fix this issue?

    Having the same issue. Both with registering kilometers on my shoes as well as on my bike.

    A have the same or a very similar issue. I've now done three runs with the same pair of shoes. Each of those three activities has that pair of shoes associated with it. However, the splash screen widget on the front Garmin page does not update, getting stuck at 1 activity, the first. When I go into the Gear page, the shoes that are shown there also do not update, though if I click the link '1 Activity Since 1 January 2015', in fact it shows that 3 runs are now associated with these shoes.

    The implementation of a gear tracker is so very welcome (since I cycle through 4 pairs of shoes, road and trail), so please get it right, Garmin! Thanks for any help.

    Newbie question please.

    I have only had my vivofit for a week and to date it has been great. When I want to sync it does but today it wouldn't. I tried several times during day and no luck but just now it did sync. Unfortunately my steps are now not showing or is any of the leader board information showing. Activities from today are showing on yesterdays reports etc. I am at a loss. Will Garmin correct the information to what was done or is it lost? Tried to call the Australian help line and even it was down. NOT happy.

    Any ideas or answers would be greatly appreciated thank you.

  • Hi Sue,
    My best guess is that Garmin is indeed having some issues with their infrastructure. Also my Forerunner has issues syncing.
    I'd say, give them a couple of days to investigate and resolve their issues.

    In the mean time, keep on moving to reach your steps goals :-)

  • I have the same issue with the gear tracker. My vivofit started working today, but it's not updating the my connections leader board. Hopefully garmin fixes this soon.
