Syncing the Vivofit to the phone is spotty at best. Syncing the vivofit to the laptop is slightly better. I've had this watch for a little over a week and while I love the concept and think it looks good, it is causing way more frustration than I anticipated based on the investment. MyFitness also does not sync well at all with this product. It allows me to jump to it from my Phone but the data input never comes back to the dashboard. May have to return and just go back to a common old sports watch.

I was forced to return my vivofit and upgraded to the vivosmart. I have one for myself and my daughter. The vivosmart seems to sync much better than the vivo fit. Try this before you jump ship. Im having issues with my 910xt for no reason it cant find satellites.

Garmin Has been having sync problems in general over the last couple days. Not sure why the 910 can't find satellites....
Thank you Gizmo. I think if the answer is to spend more for the upgrade then I will just return. I'm not expecting miracles just want it to work like advertised. Thanks for the help.

I've had a vivofit since the day they went on sale, and the only times I've had issues syncing were during outages on the Garmin Connect servers. That's that's been about 3 times in 9 months.
This one is probably due to the large number of people that got a tracker over the holidays, who could be stressing the Garmin Servers while learning how to use their device... Give it a couple days. The Polar site has been having similar issues the last few days...

I have a vivosmart and have had sync issues since last night. I also cannot sync to MyFitnessPal. I reached out MFP about this and they said it was something on their end that they were working to fix. Still no fix.
