Adding new shoes to "Gear" but not adding the distance

Hi,

Today I added some shoes that I bought and started using at the end of July 2014 and pressed OK when it asked if I'd like to use these shoes from that date to present. All of my runs that I've done since this date say that I have used these shoes, but when I go on the gear page, next to the shoes it didn't say how many kms I'd done with them. I edited them and added a max distance of 800km - now it just says 0 of 800km. Please help. Thanks.

It's a Garmin problem right now. Gear doesn't seem to be updating mileage when you associate it with an activity. I ran yesterday and used one of the shoes in my gear list but the mileage hasn't updated.

I am experiencing similar issues with bikes added to the gear section. Managed to get two activities to sync to a particular bike, but alas, no more. Would appear to be a problem at Garmins end that is hopefully sorted soon so as to ease the frustration. It's all good and well to add a new feature, but somewhat senseless if it doesn't work as advertised.

Same problem here. Ran yesterday, synced my watch, run shows up.... Mileage on shoes didn't change even though gear was checked. Deleted the activity on garmin (not my watch), tried to re-sync the run, now it won't even sync. Very frustrating. Thought, ok, I'll just add it manually. WRONG!!! Can't even do that.

Is anyone from Garmin monitoring this site? I haven't seen any "we know the problem exist... Please be patient" messages.

Same issue here. Bikes are all showing 0km, even though I've added them to various activities.

+1 for the recent comment about new features being cool, but useless if they don't work ...

Same here. Shoes and bike were added to 150+ activities but 0 mileage.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Not sure if there is a presentation page or something where I should introduce myself. If that is the case I apologize.

Anyways, just wanted to point out I have the sae problem. Hopefully, the more we are, the sooner they will fix it

It seems like it is fixed. This morning I had 340 km, now it is 370 km to my shoe distance...
