Garmin Connect reports not being updated?

On Saturday, I bouht a vivofit that I'm happy with but i have one problem. The uploads seem to work okay in that my steps dashboard device shows 8741/7500 for Sat, 10045/7686 for yesterday (Sunday) and 7679/7993 (though the day's not over yet) for today (Monday). However, the reports device has a bar only for Saturday with a value of the daily average and Sunday/Monday are both zero.

It seems that this dashboard device is not updating when I sync. Any idea what the problem is?

Have attached PNG screenshot of my latest dashboard view.

Ditto. Continuing to follow thread. What's interesting is that my dashboard shows my steps but doesn't show it in the reports, calories in/out, or the weekly leaderboard.

Interesting. It's now got Sat and Sun up but still no data for Mon/Tue or today. It COULD be that they're just lagging behind on the reports, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt at least for a little bit.

But, if there's more trouble down the road, I think I'll just toss it in the bin when the battery dies and go get a FitBit like my friend suggested. At the moment, I'm yyping my steps into a spreadsheet each night which sort of defeats the purpose of the whole Garmin ecosystem. But, since I trust online services very little, that's prudent.

Maybe my next step will be to attack the Win client with OllyDebug and reverse engineer the ANT+ protocol so I can write my _own_ client. I may even release it to the world if i can be sure it's legal (I'm pretty certain the interopability provisions under AU law would allow this, just need to check with counsel). Or maybe, just maybe, Garmin could get off their backsides and fix all these problems their customers seem to be having. Ah, customer service, I remember it well :-)

I've been thinking along similar lines. If you can get the data to a reliable service like Strava, then you could work around the horrible 'modern' ui that garmin made.

This might be a good starting point: https://code.google.com/p/antpm/

I'm having the same problem, but today the stats for Sunday and Monday are finally up. The only one missing is from yesterday.

I updated to SW 2.9 last night and now I'm experiencing problems keeping my Vivosmart in sleep mode when I'm sleeping. At around 4:30 this morning it woke me up to tell me that bluetooth was no longer connected. I put the device back into sleep mode since I noticed it was on regular mode and a minute later it did the same thing again. It's never done that before and I have it set up so my sleep time is 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM so it's frustrating to have the device go off when I'm trying to sleep. If this keeps happening I'm going to have to remove the device while I sleep which defeats the whole purpose of it tracking sleep movement. Is anyone else having this issue?

same here. Using Vivofit, Edge 810 and myfitnesspal. Great idea in theory but it just doesn't work with Garmin Connect. Really disappointing.
  • Sunday and Monday are now showing for me. Tuesday through today won't be far behind. Garmin has quite a backlog to work through.

    Seems okay now

Looks like the devs finally got back from Xmas :-)

I'm now seeing all days including today but my weight seems a little high. Oh no, wait, that;s because I'm a fat b*stard :-) I'll get that particular bug ironed out in the next couple of months with any luck.
  • I am also running into problems with Garmin Connect but just got one to upload. I wish the heck Garmin had just updated Training Center and made it compatible with the newer devices. i'm more than happy to keep my records on my own computer.
