Garmin 510

HELP! I tried to update my wifes 510 yesterday which about 4 hours of trouble occurred. Finally got it to synch and update to 3.4. Now today, it does not upload any data from her ride to Garmin Express or Strava. On my ride it did not upload calories to Strava. All was working fine before updating, now it appears many issues. I am not a techie kind of person, i need help PLEASE. Paid a lot of money for these units, all i ask is that they work and deliver what i was told i was buying. Thanks.

P.S. I tried to synch wireless, kept getting synch errors due to server. whats this?

    Garmin is having widespread issues with website and activity uploading.

    We're all feeling the pain today...
  • is it me or does thiis appear to be all of a sudden. Never had this issue with my older 500 model?
  • Question...if i reset the device to factory settings, will this help? Anyone from Garmin surveying these posts..an an answer would be great.

    I don't think this is an individual device or profile problem. I think it's system wide and on Garmin to fix.

    I haven't found any acknowledgment from Garmin about the issue today.

    I updated my Edge 810 to 3.40, did a full factory / master reset, and then did 2 rides. Neither will upload manually to Garmin (Garmin Express refuses to run on my computer).

    Of course both rides upload without problem to Strava, Ride With GPS, etc. etc. etc...... Go figure.... :(

    Mine is doing the same and I'm not happy. Mine will no longer sync with my computer va USB or my android phone. What's up Garmin. Why do you continue to use us as BETA testers. Test your crap before releasing please. How do we get this resolved.

    GC is having issues syncing with everything right now. Things were messed up on Sunday, but fine during the day on Monday, and then had problems when a ton of new users got home from work on Monday.

    many, many thousands of people got trackers as gifts, and that seems to be stressing the servers of other vendors too. Polar has been seeing the same thing with Polar ZFlow.

    Funny how the other sites (which can also reasonably be expected to have a similar degree of 'extra' work) don't seem to be having these problems.......
