Hey Garmin ... Gear Section no longer taking new activities!!!

I added 3 pairs of shoes last week. I updated my runs from the past quarter and added the the correct shoes since I rotate between 3 different pairs. I received a new pair on Christmas and used them while out of town for the first time. I tried to add an activity to the gear but it does not show up as an activity (in the gear section) even though it shows up on the activity itself. I have set a mileage limit on the shoes of 150 miles but no matter what I do I can not add a new pair of shoes, assign them to an activity and they actually show up.

I wonder if the section is having issues since the new year flipped over?

Yes, my last two activities are not taken into account in the overall kilometers run with my shoes

I'm just trying to get use to this program and I have loaded my run this morning and I can't get the run to link to my gear either. Thought it was just me doing something wrong :-(

There may be 2 solutions:

1.
Use the modern view instead of the classic view. The modern view does not seem to support gear. However be a little patient. The modern view web pages seem to be down at the moment.

2.
Check the date of purchase that you entered for your new gear.
If the date of purchase is later than the date of your activity, the gear can not be assigned.

Having the same issue. Prior to today's run, 8 activities/39 miles. After today's 7 mile run, 9 activities/39 miles. Gear was checked and everything was the same as previous runs. So, it recognized the activity, just not the distance. Please fix this.

same here the number of activities and distance is frozen since I entered them the first time.
