tcx or other... HOW?

Simple question: How do I use tcx map files (or other map files) with Foreruner 310XT? (if it can use them)
And by "use" I mean import, and start the route on the 310XT.

I really hope some of you use tcx files and know how to do this. I have had XT310 since it came out, but have never figured out how to use a route planner with it.

Hello Stampeh,

You cannot put a TCX file directly into a 310XT. You must convert the TCX into a Course File and then load the Course into the 310.

Garmin Training Center works very well for me converting the TCX and sending the Course.

I tried many times to have the 310 navigate a Course but it usually screwed up.

What has worked okay for me is just show the Course on the map screen and check visually now and then to make sure the cursor is moving along on top of the plotted Course.

That tells me I am "on course" and there are no screw-ups causing a problem recording my run.
