Garmin 920XT not recording GPS..

Hi!

For the second time in a matter of weeks I've gone out for a run and when I come home and the 920XT says "Transfer Complete" and all data shows up in Garmin Connect except proper GPS-data.
The first time this happened the GPS worked for the first 20 min, then all of a sudden stopped recording the GPS in the middle of the trail.

Don't be fooled, I'm not Superman running through buildings and all, it's just the GPS precision jumping between being ok to sometimes just purely pathetic.
Hopefully that is worked out with the update that I justed installed (version 2.5).

Anyone having similar problems?

Tall buildings and narrow streets don't make for good GPS reception. Whether that's involved in your issue I can't decide. In those circumstances, smartphones usually fair better as they get the benefit of cell tower locations to further triangulate your position.

Put the GPS 2.57 update on and report back.

Why the hell have we wasted money on these devices? Wish I had known this beforehand.

Hi again!

I've updated to 2.64 and haven't experienced the aforementioned problems.
Lets hope it stays that way.
