Can you point out the "other threads"? I ask because only the running outdoor activities automatically have names. Everything else comes through as untitled, which I find irritating. Seems to be many opinions on what it should default to, my vote would be to the activity type. Treadmill, strength, etc. A long list of untitled is useless.

I happen to port all my data to Endomondo, so i am not overly concerned. They default the activity name to the sport name which I find intuitive, because most of my activities that is fine. for the occasional special event, I just go in and then rename it.
