Vivofit: Unable to synch

I have been using my vivofit (and loving it) since Christmas day--but today i was unable to synch. I didn't do anything differently. I push till I see synch, am close to my computer, and no steps are displayed, after I refresh the dashboard. I tried synching on my iPad (error message:network error). My computer and periperhals are working, I am able to send an receive. I use Google Chrome for my browser. Whazzup?
