New to Garmin Connect - some questions

Hi, I am new to Garmin Connect and have some issues:

1) I am using the dashboard view. I sync and my last activity appears under 'Activities' but not under 'Connections'. It usually takes some refreshing before it might appear. How I can make sure it is all synced at the same time.

2) Goals: I am trying to enter something like 'running a 5k at 25 min within the next 6 months'. Is this possible - it does not seem so.

3) Weight: I have a scale which measures fat content etc. but it is not a Tania scale. It only seems possible to enter manually the weight, not all the other components. Is there a way to enter this, even if you dont own a Tania scale?

4) Dashboard: I use Garmin Connect on a laptop. In the dashboard view I am trying to add 'Weight' from the drop down menu. As my screen is smaller (laptop) I need to scroll down to get to weight. Once it opens the 'Weight' window it has also scrolled down that window -so I cant see the 'Add to Dashboard' button. Problem is if I go right side of the window to scroll upward, the moment I get to the scroll bar the window disappears. I have tried this numerous times super-slow, but the window always disappears. Essentially meaning that I can add nothing to the dashboard which is below 'Segments' as I will never see the dashboard button. Anyway around this?
