Can't sync calories from my fitness pal

Hi I am sure this is answered elsewhere but can someone direct me to that post or answer it here
My app won't sync the calories from my fitness pal

One possible solution is to hit the sync manually link on the website next to the calories. However, this then creates the problem I'm having, which is that activities on MFP are then pulled onto garmin! Apparently I went swimming 7 times and walking 9 times yesterday...
