Garmin Connect does not recognize distance or fastest speed on GPX files

I recently uploaded a month's worth of files recorded via Abvio's Cyclemeter app on iphone. Saved rides as gpx files and uploaded them to Garmin Connect. All the data is there with the exception of total distance, average speed and max speed. I have 14 months of data to upload. Should I expect to manually enter the total distance, average speed and max speed for 140 rides????

If you look through other threads you'll see this is an ongoing issue that is being worked on.
