Garmin Nuvi 2569 LMT-D

Not sure this question is in the right section...but here goes,

Bought my wife a Garmin Nuvi 2569 LMT-D for Christmas, the intention was to buy a micro sd card with the USA on for future holidays. However using the Garmin web site and following the instructions ie; On the road, North America it shows no maps available !!! Surely this can't be right , i was told the unit will take a micro sd card ( which of course it will ) however not much use if the site is correct and I can't get a micro card with the USA on.
Wondering if anyone can confirm this if so.......back to the shop it goes.

There is no sub-forum dealing with nuvis here. Mostly just the "fitness" devices and some "on the trail" stuff. A better place to deal with nuvi stuff is over here ---->http://forums.gpsreview.net/categories
