Garmin Connect Modern View - Create Manual Activity

I was trying to create a manual activity today in modern view - nothing happens. I was able to create it in classic view. Anyone else having this problem?
There seems to be a number of issues with the modern view for the past few days. Editing settings and activities in Modern seem broken also. I don't have a problem in Classic but some people have that probloem also. A couple of people posted that by changing their location via VPN, everything seemed to work for them.
