I left my vivosmart charging last night. In the morning I put it back on. It connected to bluetooth but wasn't syncing data back to Garmin connect. I made this assumption because I logged into Garmin Connect (web) and the step tile not he dashboard said it had not been synced. The only way to get the data into Connect was to launch the iOS Connect app and sync it. I guess my question is, does the Garmin Connect (mobile) app have to be open on the iPhone in order to do real-time syncing back to the web.
