I've seen other posts online about this, but no solution as far as I can tell. I jut got the Vivofit and the sync with MFP for calories isn't working. I'm so disappointed. Is there a fix coming?
Its odd, and the issue seems to have been going on for a while. GC shows that it is syncing based on the "last synced" time, but nothing is actually coming over. If I hit the "sync now" button, everything works great. So it appears the problem is with the automation on the back end rather than the connection between the two sites.
I'm also having the same problem for weeks. If I go into the GC calories and manually sync for each day it works. My calories show up on GC and my activities show up on MFP. It appears the automatic sync is not working. I've tried disconnecting from each side and connecting from the GC side. I still have to manually sync.
Don't bother asking Garmin support. They are pretty much useless with anything except helping you to do a factory reset of your device or offering to sell you a refurbished unit because yours is obviously defective after their firmware upgrades. They are never made aware of issues with the GC site even after calls to the GC support which takes 20 minutes on hold. Apparently Garmin employees don't use their own gear or else these problems probably would have been fixed already.
