Cannot sync courses to Edge 810

Hi
I cannot sync courses to my Garmin Edge 810 on my Windows PC.
Using chrome as my browser and Garmin Express displays no eror when syncing - yet the courses do not appear on my device.
I can sync successfully however via bluetooth transfer from the Android Garmin Connect app.

Is there an issue with using a Windows PC to sync?

I have also tried the Firefox browser. Still the same result. Wondering if this is a Garmin Express issue rather than a connect issue...
