Graphics of Activities does not work anymore in classic version. Only modern version

All Graphics are not shown anymore in classic version of the web interface. Switching to the "modern" display works, but the infos for me are very poor cause
- no vertical zoom
- no instant view speed / heart / position on one screen possible
- metrics poor translated. No km/h instead of pace everywhere possible.
( This also doesnt work in classic )
For europeans / germans the software is a nogo. Just compare it to the suunto web interface and you will se the difference immediatly!

I tried 3 different pc's and browsers but the graphics are gone since approx. 2 days...
cheers

Same here... charts only in modern view mode.

What upsets me, is that in the classic view, I can not adjust the title of the run, I can not upload my training via classic view anymore, only when using garming express and somehow, it give crazy names automaticly to my runs..

Yep, I think this is Garmin way of forcing the modern view mode on us all, time to look for a alternative now i guess.
  • When Modern was introduced Garmin stated it would phase out Classic, surely it should be no surprise to you all

But the unpleasing surprise is that Modern doesn't work.

After 3 years fun with my Forerunner110 and the Garmin portal, disappointment is on the rise.
The Modern version shows just the blue background, no data/details at all.
  • Same problem here, see also the previous thread in this forum. Old version shows no charts, modern version does not work at all, just hangs. Garmin Hardware is actually good, but Garmin Connect currently is a unusable nightmare.
  • The Modern version shows just the blue background, no data/details at all.

In the past it was found that this problem is usually because your browser or a proxy is blocking access to some 3rdparty sites. Most frequently it was caused by AdBlock or Ghostery browser plugins. Disabling them on connect.garmin.com may resolve your issue.
  • Yes there doesn't seem to be a general problem with Connect - I can still get the classic view

    Hello Travis.Vitek,
Your recommendation helped - at least a bit.

On my main Linux-system (openSUSE 13.2 64bit with Firefox) it is still not working:
    > I just get the blue background
    > the navigation icons on the upper left appear
    > but nothing else and
    > clicks on the navigation icons do nothing.

With the portable applications (Firefox/Seamonkey) on my laptop (MSWinXP 32bit) it works - partly!
I have not tested all opportunities, but data is provided although full editing of an activity doesn't work.

This appears to be some sort of new graphic/layer bug with the "classic" Activities page.

I am having the same issue with just an empty white field showing up where the list of activities normally appears. Scrolling over reveals a spinning "working"-type graphic.

I tried loading up the Activities page in Chrome on a tablet, and swiping right very briefly revealed the underlying list of activities, before disappearing immediately back under the white layer. So the list is under there, but you just can't see it!

Needless to say, Garmin ought to get this bug fixed right away. This pretty much destroys the usability of the "classic" version of Garmin Connect.
