GPX Activities uploaded no longer have length/distance

Since the Garmin Connect website downtime yesterday (12/19/14), GPX file uploaded as activities no longer interpret the correct mileage length, or associated calculations. Time and elevation appear to be known, but not distance.

Anyone else see this?

You need to manually import gpx files.

Thanks for clarifying and the reassurance of Garmin's commitment to support GPX uploads to GC SUSSAMB - but any idea when we can upload GPX files again which will show correct distance etc?

Sorry, no idea. I have asked one of the 'subject matter experts' to provide an update, but no idea when that might come.

Do the "Subject Matter Experts" realise there are other GPX management tools/websites? This is my third month's worth of data which is now sitting idle awaiting (usable) upload.

Same problem - GPX files from Suunto Ambit works fine in Strava, Runkeeper etc. - NOT in Garmin Connect - Route and length is fine on map, but my runs all show as 0,01 km :confused:

With GPX files manually uploaded from my Dakota 20, GC is unable to calculate correctly Distance, Average Speed, and Moving Time. The Timing Chart (i.e., speed vs time) is not correctly displayed, either. Moreover, the rides that I uploaded more than a couple of months ago that USED to diplay the Timing Chart correctly, are now FUBAR. For older rides, though, Distance, Average Speed, and Moving Time are still fine. Please fix this bug.
