TCX export failure regarding GPS samples

Hi,

I have an activity (185 km, 7h30) for which the TCX export file only contains 2597 bytes.

The TCX file contains general data (like <TotalTimeSeconds>, <DistanceMeters>, <AverageHeartRateBpm>, <Cadence>...).

However, there is no GPS data in this TCX file (i.e. no <Track>, <Trackpoint> at all) although the "GPS" track is correctly displayed in the map of Garmin Connect web page.

Is there a way to fix that ?

Hi,
eight months later and I am experiencing the same problem. Did you ever find a fix or a workaround?
Its strange, I exported months of activities from GC as .TCX files and when I import them into another site, some of the activities have tracking data, some not. Same for cadence, most have cadence but a few not. How can this be?
