I'm having the same issues with date/time on GC as mentioned on this thread. At least I'm not alone. :)

All my Step, Activity and Sleep data is 11 hours ahead of my local time logged. I'm using a Vivosmart connecting through my iPad app, using all the latest updates. Time is also set correctly on all my devices. If I connect my Vivosmart through my computer there are no issues. It's only when I use the GC app to connect.

I hope this gets fixed soon.

Definitely a problem if I edit the activity on the iphone. If I don't touch it, then edit on the mac at home, there is no issue with the time/date.

I'm having the same issue with my Edge 510, but my time zone is out by 11 hours. The device database says the correct time but on upload to Garmin Connect it is incorrect.

I am having exactly the same problem with my FR 920t. The times on the watch are correct, my time settings are all correct, I am locked into satellites but when the activities upload to Garmin connect, they are all 11hrs later than when they occurred. Did you get a solution for your problem??

Yep. It only occurs when activity names are edited via GC iOS. Left the activity names "as is" for a few days and no problems, but today when I edited one on my GC iOS app it shifted the time 11 hours forward.
  • Just to update I have been emailing Garmin Support, they have asked me for various bits of information. They acknowledged there is a time stamp issue with GC Mobile on iOS. So they are clearly trying to troubleshoot the exact issue. I've turned off auto upload in the iPhone app and I'm uploading all my activities via my mac until it is fixed.
  • Thanks for all this info. I am having same issue with FR610 uploaded to GC app on iPhone and it seems to be ok until I edit the name. Not sure if it's only related to name edit or also if other edits are made. Timezone setting are correct, watch activity history is correct its just GC which is an issue. It has been moving 11hrs forward as well, so looks like I have already trained tomorrow!
  • Sorry I meant garmin FR620 in my above post.
  • I just did a test and it's also an issue when you only edit the additional text box and don't edit the name.
