I just bought a second Vivofit (for my wife). Can I create a second profile, or do I need to create a new Garmin Connect account with a different email address.
My wife and I each have a Garmin Vivofit. I set up the initial GARMIN Express and the a "Garmin Connect" account for me.. I filled in the profile and saved it and it seemed to work fine. After that, I made a separate GC account for my wife and did her profile and PAIRed each one separately and the SYNC ed after we had a couple of days of DATA onboard. After that BAD news..when I SIGNED IN and RAN GC for me, it had my name and some details right but had put my wifes HGT WT SLEEP times and DOB into my profile..My DATA and name were OK but her stuff messed up the rest of my Profile. I signed out MY ID and SiGNED in hers..sure enough, GC had her name and some data right, but MY HEIGHT, WT DOB and SLEEP times entered in HER profile. I finally DELETED all the data and re-entered ONE acct profile..Mine. FINE, but when I opened HER acct/SIgn in and re entered her data, it ONCE AGAIN "mixed" up the two profiles. Let it rest a day, then RE ENTERED all data..MIXED UP again. Right now, I have it OK with JUST my DATA..and its SYNC ing well with EITHER my laptop and even BETTER, My ACER ICONIA 8 Android tablet running KitKat 4.4 Any ideas how to get BOTH profiles in SEPARATELY?
For the two GC accounts, you used different email addresses, correct? The email address is what makes them different. Also, make sure that when you log into the two accounts with GC, you are doing so with the different email addresses.
