I just got my Vivofit and started using it a few days ago. I can't seem to get the device to track my actual sleep hours. After I do a sync with my PC, it shows my "typical sleep hours" that I added to my profile, but not my actual sleep hours. Do I have to press the sleep function when I'm going to sleep? I thought the device could figure out when I stopped moving around the time of my normal sleep hours, and assume I'm sleeping. Is it not that smart?!
Yup, can confirm that you have to put it in sleep mode (push selector button for about 7 seconds) for it to 'record' sleep. I often forget but its no great loss.
