I think this is only recently started happening, but Multisport activities i.e. a triathlon, uploads to Connect as a single undefined activity, rather than three individual activities. Pretty useless really. Is there a fix coming for this and will is retrospectively apply to these activities?
This was something that many people wanted, and Garmin provided. I seriously doubt that there are plans to flip-flop on this decision now.
If you don't like the single activity with separate tabs, you can click through each of the tabs and export the activity data as a TCX, and then re-upload them. You will get individual activities then, but you may lose some data in the process since I don't believe that everything in the original fit file will come through in a tcx.
hmm ok, I don't understand why anyone would want all three activities rolled into one though - say for example I did a tri at the weekend and I get a result that says 113km, average speed x and pace x, which rolls together your speed and pace from swim, bike and run. Means nothing...
They aren't rolled into one like that. Maybe you are seeing something different than I'm expecting.
Here is a link to a multisport activity. Near the top of the page, you should see multiple tabs, one tab for the entire race, and one each leg of the race (swim, t1, bike, t2, run). You can click the tab for the appropriate leg and I see a map and statistics for just that part of the race.
If you've uploaded a multisport activity and it doesn't come across like that, then there was either a problem with the upload or a problem with the data uploaded.
