Graph displays over distance rather than time are odd?

Hi,

My graphs are not showing normally when I select to show them against Distance rather than Time. They are all confused, as shown below. Does anyone else have this problem.

Also, I would like to display my HR graph in % rather than BPM, but although I have changed my settings to do this, the graph still shows in BPM. Is there a way round this?

I'm seeing the same thing with the chart against Distance, for what it's worth.
  • Same issue here. Didn't see this thread, but posted it in my own thread.

This issue has gone away for me now, quite some time ago. I didn't actually do anything, I presumed that Garmin had just fixed the bug. However, I would still like to show HR in % rather than in BPM.

It's happening to me; normal 'Over Time':

    Abnormal 'Over Distance':

This is in Chrome, but same in IE.

    Anyone else seeing this?

I have this problem as well. I've also noticed that when Distance is selected I can't highlight an area of the elevation, speed, etc. charts to zoom in, and the player button doesn't do anything.
    I use a Forerunner 305.
  • Same here. You can customise your graphs but sadly the option to select over time or over distance doesn't save and it always defaults to over time :(

So I think I've figured out why this is happening, unfortunately it's something Garmin will have to fix on their end.

I noticed that when you expand the elevation chart and set it over distance there was a line that appears to go from the end of the graph all the way to left edge.
Looking at the .TCX files from my FR305 there seems to always be a final <TRACKPOINT> that only contains a timestamp and no other data. When I remove that last trackpoint and re-upload the activity manually the graphs display correctly. I also downloaded a couple random activities from users with newer devices and they don't contain that extra trackpoint at the end.
I guess GC gets confused by the empty trackpoint and that's why the distance charts all get messed up.
