Extreme Newbie Question - Segment Data

I just recently put a new (to me) 800 Edge into play on my bike. I'm just getting used to it.

I (easily) set up a Garmin Connect account and uploaded my first two rides. I noticed that part of both of those rides included a 'segment' that many cyclists in my area seem to have ridden/recorded. Note that I have not yet made my ID/Profile/Whatever public.

While Garmin Connect will tell me where I would 'rank' (based on time) on this segment, it includes no other data (HR, cadence, etc). But that data is available for all the other folks (all 'public' I assume) whose data is recorded.

Is there a way to see 'my data' (cadence, HR, etc) just like I see everyone else's data?

If you want to see your data in the table, you have to make it visible to Everybody as suggested by the note you speak of. Otherwise, just click the link there and it will take you to the activity details page for that activity where you can get a peek at your data.
