Anyone lost data in Connect?

I just discovered a similar problem with an older activity (recorder: Edge 200). All data there, GPS-track not showing.

In BikeExperience software the imported track is displayed correctly.
But it is an activity which I had combined from two other separate activities and then had imported it into Connect.

The data is back!

How weird. I tried a number of times over a couple of days and it was consistently missing. I work in I.T. so I'm suitably superstitious!

I can only assume that they have responded to my support call and 'fixed' something. If so that's very quick. Though no email from them so far. Either corrupt data or the code that interprets the data?

I'm absolutely sure the activity was viewable after I uploaded it in June. It could be that the upgraded site is incompatible with pre-upgrade data in some unusual circumstances? Perhaps I cycle too slowly?;)

I ran into the same thing when trying to review old activities (e.g. 2008 and older) - the activity is there but no map is shown or it just shows KC. I could export the data and see the coordinates, so I don't think anything was really lost. Sure enough, when I went back a day later and looked again it displayed the map.

My wild guess is that maybe they are doing an on-demand data migration of some kind. If so, it would be much friendlier to display something like "Sorry, the geographic data for this activity is not accessible right now. Please check again in a few hours." ... rather than giving us poor runners a near heart attack.
