Edge 200 won't sync with express or directly with connect-

I have noticed several other having issues syncing today - all similar and no real solution - I have read all the post I can find with sync issues tried every bit of troubleshoot fix I can.

Uninstalled Garmin Express and reinstalled, tried manually to upload file tried using MapMyRide, Strava and via old Connect - used Chrome, Firefox and IE re installed the plug in. Nothing works to upload my ride from today. I consistently get an error over and over, even tried to copy the file or pull it manually from the device via the old connect page- nothing.

I am running Windows 7 updated - no blocking software or firewalls. After reinstalling GE it said it was syncing, looks like it saw or re-uploaded all the files except todays (at least I think thats what it did). Everything was working fine yesterday- uploaded Sundays ride, today when I got back -'no joy' no upload, nothing.

Any suggestions?
  • If you can't import the file manually into Garmin Connect, then I'd suspect a problem in the file that might be causing GC to balk. Will it upload to Strava or some other fitness site? If you get the same from them, then it's more likely an issue with the file.

If you post the file, maybe someone will look at it and see if there is a problem with it.

My guess is your right about it being the file - the garmin will not let me copy that one specific file I can not remove it, zip it and remove it or anything thing. Pretty damn frustrating..
  • You should be able to copy, move, delete that file with your computers file browser while it's connected to the usb. If not, something else is up.

I'm not quite sure of your stating "the garmin will not let me copy....." are you trying to use the devices utilities to copy it? I don't know if the 200 has anything for that. Most edges don't AFAIK.
