Connect no longer automatically syncing with MFP

Connect used to sync automatically with MFP every 5 minutes, but for the last month or so I have to manually sync the two from Garmin Connect/Modern. I can't even force the sync from the mobile app. Is this problem being looked into by Garmin? I posted this comment to another thread, but never got a response so I am reposting.

    I have the exact same problem too. Wondering if there was an upgrade that broke something? Hoping Garmin actually reads these forums and will respond.

    My 910XT has not sync'd any data since 20 October.
  • Bumping in hopes that someone from Garmin will see this thread. Still no automatic sync with MFP.
  • Still no response from Garmin, still not working. And now I have to restart my mobile connect app every time I try to sync my vivofit. Clearly posting in this forum does no good as far as receiving assistance from Garmin. For as much as we pay for these devices, one would expect better customer service.

    There could be problems on the MFP side, as MFP hasn't been syncing with Withings over the last week. (I have a Withings scale that normally passes my weight to MFP, but hasn't for about a week now)

    Mine hasn't been syncing since an update 2 or so months ago. And I emailed Garmin, with no response... I am honestly kind of considering giving up the Garmin and going with a Fitbit. this is more frustrating than it should be
  • For me, Garmin Connect no longer syncs with MFP (MyFitnessPal.com) since 29 Nov 2014.

    I tried, in MFP, disconnecting Garmin Connect, then reconnecting--but, no joy! Tried that a couple of times--once when I was already logged into Connect and once when I was not. The first time took me straight into Connect Dashboard; the second opened Connect, but I had to log in.

    I looked in Connect-Settings-Account Information. Under the heading, Applications, only Training Peaks is listed (previously, both MyFitnessPal.com and TrainingPeaks.com were listed). Connect only allows me to REMOVE applications in the Settings menu, but not to ADD applications. Connect should have an intuitive method of adding applications to that list and to allow them to be added with permission to READ only or to READ & WRITE/MODIFY.

    Why hasn't Garmin even bothered to post to this thread in nearly a month? A simple note from Garmin posted, periodically, to indicate that they acknowledge they are working on a solution (or, have discovered the problem is with MFP) would be progress. Seems to me that Garmin is close to a "Customer NO SERVICE" policy!

    I have been emailing them back and forth recently, addressing this same issue. I am hoping they will figure something out. I have been getting quite timely responses, so hopefully this continues until
    An answer is found. If not, my next step will be to call them I think.

    Ok. Glad to hear it isn't just me. Although, I would feel better if Garmin would formally acknowledge the problem. It would be nice to know if this is a priority for them.
