Garmin Connect not showing charts for any activity

When using the new version of Garmin Connect there are no charts for any activity that I upload. The map is displayed but under that there is nothing. This is the bottom corner of the screen:

When the activity screen loads there are a number of errors detected by Chrome:

gives a 404 (not found), and

http://connect.garmin.com/modern/proxy/user-service-1.0/json/user?_=1415172179919

gives a 500 (internal server error).

Any ideas??
