How do I view HRM data from Vivosmart on Garmin Connect?

Hope someone can help me! How do I view my Garmin Heart Rate Monitor stats/data from Vivosmart on Garmin Connect? All other data sync is fine and Heart Rate is selected in display settings. I can see my heart rate on the Vivosmart but I cant view the results or data on Garmin Connect after my workout. How do I get this information to sync to Garmin Connect?
  • You can either use the mobile app from Garmin to get your data to Garmin Connect or connect your vivosmart to your computer and send it to Garmin Connect with Garmin Express.

Have you installed either the app to your smartphone or Garmin Express to your computer? The manual, though small tells you all the steps for either.

    I've the same problem
  • On the GC website, did you add a widget for a HRM report? On the Mobile, there is probably a widget that needs to be added too...

Maybe this will help some if the above posts are confusing or not working for you. On my Samsung S3, when I open the Connect App, I go to activities. Tap on the activity in question. At the top right corner there's a picture of a heart rate graph. Tap on that and it will show the chart of the HRM. My question for anyone out there: is there a way to keep the HRM on display the whole time i'm working out. I can see it and then I'm guessing the Vivosmart goes to sleep but I want to be able to glance at where my heart rate is at without having to double tap my device. Just got this dang thing and feeling like I want to return it but I know it will take time to get used to how things are done as it doesn't seem intuitive.

This is what I do. In device settings, I have auto on display turned on and my default screen is set to show my last display. When I start my activity, I switch to display the heart rate and every time I raise my arm to view my vs, my heart rate shows.

The only complication I have had with this arrangement is that a couple of times, I have inadvertently shut down an activity when trying to scroll over to the heart rate. The way I overcome this issue is to start the activity a few seconds before, switch to the heart rate display and then I start moving. That means that I have to manually adjust a 30 minute activity from 30 minutes and 10 seconds down to 30 minutes and 0 seconds after it is synced.
